Some places make you think about your next holiday. Estepona makes me think about what an ordinary Tuesday could look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A morning walk beside the sea. Coffee outside. Picking up the children and stopping at a playground before heading home. Nothing particularly extraordinary\u2014yet these are often the moments people hope to gain when moving to Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m Izidor, a father of three living in Benalm\u00e1dena, and I feel fortunate to have Estepona within reach for a day out. During my October visit, I explored its waterfront, parks, residential streets and surrounding neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Attracted Me to Estepona?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The attention to shared spaces stood out immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I noticed flowers, freshly improved streets, places to sit and playgrounds scattered through the areas I visited. Around Parque del Carmen, I enjoyed the fountains and the quieter residential surroundings. Along the promenade, people were walking, exercising and taking time over coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
